Who We Are
Bimbos Theatre Co. LLC is a Los Angeles-based student-led organization created by students at UCLA for artists with the mission to highlight and empower women's stories. Our goal is to promote the representation of female-identifying people in theatre, and create safe spaces for female creatives to explore their craft. Additionally, we are committed to philanthropy that gives back to causes benefitting women's welfare in the L.A. community and other national charitable organizations. We are also committed to the growth of our company with the intention of being able to better support both students and professionals. Our hope is that all of our artists can have the agency to be leaders in supportive creative environments, and we will continue to produce work that aligns with our vision and uplifts others.
Our Team

Trystan Dennings
Executive Director,
Co-Founder
Trystan Dennings (she/her) is a director, playwright, and producer from Austin, Texas who writes and directs dramas and comedies about growing up, interpersonal relationships, and the strife of womanhood. She founded Bimbos Theatre Co. LLC, in part, to be a platform for highlighting these themes. Her plays include Teenagers: Nothing Important (2022) and Little Tricks (2023). Her directing credits include The Picture of Dorian Gray adapted by Gloria Gonzalez (2021), her self-written piece Teenagers: Nothing Important (2022), and Overtones by Alice Gerstenberg, Bimbos' first production (2023).

Kaity Cairo
Artistic Director,
Co-Founder
Kaity Cairo (she/her) is an undergraduate theatre major with an acting emphasis in her third year at UCLA. She has experience in film, theatre, and solo theatre. She is most proud of her work in Happy Birthday, Mars Rover with UCLA Theater. Kaity recently graduated from the Acting Shakespeare course at RADA in London. She felt inspired to create Bimbos Theatre Co. LLC because of the lack of equal opportunity women have in theatre, and she hopes that Bimbos can make space for female-identifying people that alternatively wouldn't have the same opportunity to create art.
